Final Summer Discipleship Night Set for August 11

Final Teen and Young Adult Summer Gathering Set for August 11

Teens and young adults are invited to close out the summer with an evening of faith, friendship and fellowship at the Marian Friary of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Griswold.

The final gathering in the Teen and Young Adult Summer Series on Discipleship will take place Tuesday, August 11, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. The evening is open to teens ages 13–17 and young adults ages 18–30, with separate tracks offered for each group.

Deacon Joe will be the featured speaker for the August 11 gathering.

Following two successful gatherings in July, the August event promises to be another meaningful and enjoyable evening. Participants will share dinner, hear an inspiring presentation, spend time before the Blessed Sacrament in Eucharistic adoration and conclude with fellowship around a bonfire.

Deacon Joe will be the featured speaker for the evening, encouraging participants to deepen their relationship with Jesus and live their faith more fully in their everyday lives.

The series takes its inspiration from Christ’s invitation to leave the shallows and allow Him to lead our hearts into the deep. Participants are encouraged to bring a friend and come ready for an evening of faith, encouragement and encounter.

Two separate tracks will be offered:

  • Teens ages 13–17
  • Young adults ages 18–30

Each evening includes dinner, a presentation, Eucharistic adoration, a bonfire and fellowship. Participants are encouraged to bring a friend. Registration is requested to assist organizers with dinner preparations.
